How to Send an Enquiry

Reaching out to advertisers is simple and safe. Here's how to do it effectively.

Sending a Message

Every listing has a contact form on its detail page. You don't need an account to send an enquiry, but registered users get extra features like message history.

  1. Open the listing you're interested in
  2. Scroll to the Contact Advertiser panel on the right (or bottom on mobile)
  3. Fill in your name, email, phone number and message
  4. Click Send Enquiry

The advertiser will receive your message by email and can reply through the platform.

Requesting a Viewing

If you'd like to arrange a viewing of a property, use the Request a Viewing option in the enquiry form. This sends a specific viewing request to the advertiser, who can then confirm a time.

Tip: When requesting a viewing, mention a few preferred dates and times in your message. This speeds up the scheduling process significantly.

Calling or WhatsApp

Many advertisers display their phone number and/or WhatsApp on their listing. You can call or WhatsApp them directly using those details. This is often the fastest way to get a response for rental enquiries.

Managing Your Enquiries

If you have an account, all enquiries you've sent are stored in your Messages inbox. You can:

  • View the full conversation thread with each advertiser
  • See whether the advertiser has replied
  • Track viewing requests and their status
  • Archive or close enquiries you no longer need

Protecting Yourself

  • Never send money before viewing a property in person
  • Be cautious of advertisers asking for deposits via wire transfer
  • Verify the advertiser is genuine before sharing personal details
  • Report suspicious listings using the 'Report' button on the listing page

Didn't get a reply?

If you haven't heard back within 48 hours, try calling using the phone number on the listing, or send a follow-up message. Some advertisers may have let the property and not updated their listing.
