What Jamaica Homes does
- We aim to review reports alleging fraud or an immediate safety concern within 24 business hours. This is a response target, not a guarantee; contact emergency services or law enforcement where there is an immediate risk.
- We provide reporting tools for users to flag suspected issues and report suspicious listings.
- We may suspend or remove accounts found to be engaging in fraudulent or unsafe behaviour, and cooperate with Jamaican law enforcement where required.
Your responsibilities
- Exercise appropriate caution when contacting advertisers.
- Independently confirm the property, the advertiser's authority and all terms before providing money, personal documents or sensitive financial information.
- Report suspicious listings, profiles or messages using the Platform's reporting tools.
- Use the Platform only for advertising or finding accommodation.
Prohibited conduct
Fraudulent or scam listings, payment requests for properties an advertiser does not control, harvesting contact details, harassment, and attempts to bypass safety measures can result in immediate account suspension.
Reporting a safety concern
If you have a safety concern about a listing, user or message, please report it immediately. Use the Report button on a listing or contact the team directly.
