Reporting Suspicious Listings
Help keep Jamaica Homes Classifieds safe by reporting listings that don't meet our standards.
How to Report a Listing

Open the Listing
Navigate to the listing you want to report.

Click 'Report'
Click the flag icon or the 'Report' link on the listing page.

Select a Reason
Choose the reason that best describes the issue.

Add Details (Optional)
Provide any additional context that might help our team investigate quickly.

Submit
Click 'Submit Report'. Our moderation team will review it within 24 hours.
Reasons to Report
- Scam or fraudulent listing
- Misleading photos or description
- Property doesn't exist at the stated address
- Advertiser is not the owner or authorised agent
- Asking for payment before viewing
- Offensive or discriminatory content
- Duplicate listing of the same property
- Already rented or sold but still listed
- Incorrect pricing (e.g. hiding fees)
What Happens After You Report
Our moderation team reviews every report. Depending on the severity:
- Minor issues: the advertiser is notified to correct the listing
- Misleading content: the listing is temporarily suspended pending review
- Confirmed scams or fraud: the listing and account are immediately removed
- Repeat offenders: permanent account bans are enforced
Urgent Safety Concern?
If you believe you've been the victim of a scam or fraud, contact us immediately at safety@jamaicahomes.com and also report the matter to the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
