This conceptual Jamaican hillside residence is articulated as a low-profile concrete and timber volume, positioned to extend living space toward the landscape rather than sit upon it. The infinity pool operates as a horizontal datum, visually merging water, sky, and terrain while assisting passive cooling along the building edge. Deep roof overhangs and recessed glazing mitigate solar gain and allow interiors to remain open without thermal penalty. The architecture is defined by restraint, relying on proportion, section, and orientation to achieve presence.
