When you open the calculator, you’ll see three main sections:

A. Property Value & Debts

  • Current Market Value – Enter the estimated value of your property today.
  • Outstanding Mortgage / Liens – Any debt secured against the property that must be paid off upon sale.

B. Transaction Costs

Pre-filled with typical Jamaican rates, but editable:

  • Agent Commission (5%)
  • GCT on Commission (15%)
  • Transfer Tax (2%)
  • Legal / Conveyancing Fees (1.5%)
  • Miscellaneous Costs (survey, title checks, etc.)

Result:
