To list your properties on the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) operated by the REALTORS® Association of Jamaica (RAJ), your real estate agency must meet the following requirements as outlined in the By-Laws of the REALTORS® Association of Jamaica Limited:
Step 1: Obtain RAJ Membership
Your agency must first become a Professional Member of the RAJ. This requires:
Registration with the Real Estate Board of Jamaica as a Dealer (Real Estate Agency).
The agency’s qualifying director or partner must be a registered Dealer Member of the RAJ.
All licensed salesmen (agents) working under your agency must also apply for membership.
Step 2: Application Process
Download and complete the RAJ membership application from the official RAJ website.
Submit the completed application along with the required supporting documents.
Pay the necessary membership and MLS fees.
Step 3: Membership Approval
The Membership Committee will review your application.
Once approved, your agency and its agents will gain access to the MLS.
Step 4: Listing Properties on the MLS
Once your agency is a registered Dealer Member, you can list properties on the MLS by:
Following RAJ’s MLS listing guidelines and policies.
Ensuring all listings include accurate property details, images, and pricing.
Cooperating with other MLS members in property transactions.
Compliance and Ongoing Membership
Maintain good standing by keeping up with membership dues and complying with RAJ’s Code of Ethics.
Adhere to MLS rules and regulations to avoid penalties or suspension.
