The Real Estate Training Institute (RETI) was started in February 2016 and is part of the Real Estate Board in Jamaica. RETI helps people who want to work in real estate, which means buying and selling homes and land. For over eight years, RETI has been giving classes that people must take to become real estate agents in Jamaica. These classes are important for anyone who wants to work in real estate.
RETI has two main starter courses: one for people who want to be sales agents and another for those who want to be dealers (more experienced agents). Even after people become agents, they can keep learning through RETI’s programs to stay updated on new things in real estate.
