As-Is Condition

As-Is Condition means that when a property is purchased, it is accepted in its current state, with no warranties or guarantees from the seller. The buyer assumes full responsibility for any issues with the property, whether discovered before or after the sale is finalized. This type of transaction is common with foreclosures, REO properties, or homes marketed as needing significant repairs. In such cases, buyers should be aware that they will handle all necessary repairs and ensure the property meets code requirements. There is no recourse against the previous owner for any defects or problems found after the sale is complete.
