Annual Rental Yield

ARY, or Annual Rental Yield, is a simple way to figure out how much money you can make each year from renting out a property, compared to how much the property cost to buy. It helps property owners and investors see if their investment is a good one. For example, if you buy a house in Jamaica for $20 million and rent it out for $2 million a year, your ARY tells you how much of that $20 million you’re earning back each year. People use ARY to see if owning a rental property is worth it, especially in busy areas like Kingston or Montego Bay where lots of people are looking for places to rent. A higher ARY means you’re making more money compared to what you spent on the property, which is great for investors. However, it’s also important to think about other costs, like repairs and how often the property might be empty. ARY is used all over the world to help people understand whether buying and renting out properties will make them money.
